ENG IHU TEAMS was established in February 2024 by the Dean, Mr. Papakostas, with the vision of fostering collaboration between doctoral candidates and student teams from the Engineering departments of the International Hellenic University. The initiative aims to promote research, networking, and outward-looking scientific engagement. The initial team included IEEE IHU SB Thessaloniki, REM IHU, OPEN KNOWLEDGE, and doctoral candidates Mr. Saroglou and Mr. Tziona, under the guidance of Dr. Papakostas.

I was one of the four students selected to join the founding administrative team. Over time, I took on a more active role in coordinating team efforts and supporting the smooth operation of the group.

My contributions included:

• Organizing two engineering showcase events, where student teams and PhD candidates presented their work — events that combined elements of a symposium and a conference.
• Designing and maintaining the team’s official website, as well as managing its digital infrastructure (such as shared drives and internal resources) as webmaster.
