The IEEE IHU Student Branch is the official student chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at the International Hellenic University, Thessaloniki campus. It is part of the global IEEE network, the world’s largest professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for humanity.

The branch serves as a vibrant community of students from diverse engineering and technology fields, including Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, and related disciplines. Its mission is to foster technical knowledge, leadership skills, and professional growth through hands-on projects, educational events, and networking opportunities.

What a Student Branch Do :

• Organize technical workshops, seminars, and hackathons to empower students with practical skills and experience.
• Collaborate with industry and academia through talks, panels, and joint initiatives.
• Participate in national and international competitions, such as IEEEXtreme and CyberSecurity contests, often earning distinctions.
• Promote innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration across departments and student communities.
• Engage in outreach by organizing events that connect students with real-world technological and societal challenges.
